Hike 9: Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge (Portland, OR)

Just a little in-town hike with my mom today, she lives near Oaks Bottom and loves walking, talking, and pointing out all the wildlife.

We saw Great Blue Heron, Mallard Ducks and Turtle (who was hanging out with Ducks).

We loved all the wild sweet pea flowers growing along a sunny section of the trail. I may come back in the fall to collect seed pods for scattering around my yard.
