NL with Oregon Symphony Lullaby Project Concert

  • Alberta Rose Theatre 3000 Northeast Alberta Street Portland, OR, 97211 United States (map)

The Lullaby Project – conceived by Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute – uses the creative process of songwriting to improve well-being and child bonds with parents experiencing housing insecurity and other challenging life situations. Since 2018, the Oregon Symphony has partnered with Path Home (formerly Portland Homeless Family Solutions), a nonprofit organization that empowers homeless families with children to get back into stable, long-term housing. Together with musicians from the Oregon Symphony and local singer-songwriters, parents and parents-to-be are creating personal lullabies for their children, expressing their dreams for the future.

In the past 5 years, dozens of lullabies have been created with Path Home families, and we are honored to share this year's songs with our community.
