Spring is around the corner, with lengthening days bringing us glimmers of hope, even during these anxious times. I hope wherever you are, you are safe, healthy and feeling hopeful.

It’s choral conference time…
Spring means choral conference season is upon us again, and I’m really looking forward to connecting with more conductors and choirs.
My first release with Graphite Publishing is now published! If you’re out at a conference, be sure to swing by the Graphite Booth and head toward the Compose Like A Girl series to find “Racing the Moon” and a whole bunch of other awesome titles by female-identifying composers!

Join us again on International Women’s Day, for a celebration of female singer-songwriters! This special showcase features an eclectic lineup of talented solo artists—LaRhonda Steele, Rachel Brashear, Naomi LaViolette, Leah Hinchcliff—plus the Cider Janes Trio.
Upcoming Premiere:
Brave Light
I am so grateful to share with you the upcoming premiere of a brand new piece, Brave Light. This piece is written for SATB Chorus with piano and optional bassoon or cello.
This piece was commissioned in memory of Anna Wessell, a dear friend and accompanist to the Oregon City High School Choir. All are welcome at the premiere:
